What is the state of bhakti?
Narada Bhati Sutra states that when you are in a state of bhakti, you will feel - 1. Highest love for Bhagawan 2. Immortal bliss 3. Perfection 4. Satisfied forever 5. No more needs 6. No more sorrows 7. No hate towards anyone or anything 8. No excitement over anything worldly 9. Exhilarated beyond control 10. Self-absorbed and still in the thoughts of Bhagawan.
What is the meaning of avatara?
A divinity descending from its usual abode, coming to a certain place, at a certain time, assuming a particular body with some purpose is called an avatara. Lord Vishnu descending from Vaikuntha to Vrindavan during Dwapara Yuga assuming the body of Sri Krishna to establish dharma is a typical avatara.
