God is Watching

God is Watching

In a school classroom, a teacher was explaining about God. The teacher said, 'God is everywhere. At home, in school, in the park, during the day, at night - there’s no place or time where God is not present. He sees and knows everything. You can never hide anything from Him.'

Arjun listened carefully but was curious. One day, during a break, the teacher asked Arjun to go to the store room to get a box of crayons. While inside, Arjun noticed a jar of chocolates on the shelf. He thought, What if I take one? No one is here to see me. He looked around, made sure the room was empty, and quickly slipped a chocolate into his pocket.

Later, when he returned to the classroom, the teacher asked, 'Did you find the crayons?'

'Yes, I did,' Arjun replied nervously. But the teacher noticed something odd - Arjun looked uncomfortable and kept patting his pocket, as if he was checking on something.

The teacher decided to test him. Smiling, he asked, 'Arjun, did anyone see you while you were in the supply room?'

'No, sir,' Arjun replied quickly, looking down.

The teacher gently said, 'Arjun, even if no one else saw you, God sees everything. He is always watching, even when we think we are alone. God knows the truth, and nothing can be hidden from Him.'

Hearing this, Arjun’s face turned red.  Slowly, he took the chocolate out of his pocket and said, 'I’m sorry, sir. I shouldn’t have taken this.'

The teacher smiled and said, 'It’s okay, Arjun. What’s important is that you understood your mistake. That’s the right thing to do.'

From that day, Arjun decided to always do the right thing, even when no one was watching.
