A man walked into the living place of a sage and asked, 'What is the difference between a realized being and an ordinary man?'
The sage called his disciples and said, 'Throw this arrogant fool out. I don't want to see him in front of me. He doesn't even know how to talk to a sage.'
The man started trembling and began sweating.
Then the sage said, 'This is the difference between an ordinary man and a realized soul. Look at you; you are so nervous. A realized soul will never get scared of anything. He knows that there is divinity inside him and outside. He will not get nervous like you. He is unperturbed by any provocation.
'You are a realized being when you have faith in the divinity inside you. You are an ordinary man when you are dependent on external factors.'
Treat others, especially those from whom you seek guidance, with respect. Avoid arrogance or disrespect in your words and actions. Approach situations with humility, recognizing that you have much to learn from others, especially those with wisdom and experience. Be open to learning and receiving guidance from different sources, even if it challenges your beliefs or opinions. Believe in the divinity within yourself. Cultivate faith in your abilities and strengths, knowing that you have the power to overcome challenges and obstacles. Strive to maintain inner peace and calmness, even in the face of provocation or adversity. This will help you achieve self-realization.
