The ten forms of Adi Parashakti are the Ten Mahavidyas. These divine forms reside in ten specific places within the body of Devi upasakas, aiding their spiritual practice and elevation.
The human body has nine openings (Navadwaras). These nine openings act as gateways for interaction between the body and the external world. Sound enters through the ears. Visuals enter the body through the eyes. Knowledge and awareness are acquired through ears and eyes. The mouth communicates thoughts. Food, essential for nourishment, also enters the body through the mouth. The nostrils enable the flow of life force (Prana) in and out. Waste is expelled through the excretory organ, and the reproductive organ releases the veerya (semen) essential for procreation.
The Ten Mahavidyas are: Kali, Tara, Tripurasundari, Bhuvaneshwari, Dhumavati, Matangi, Bagalamukhi, Bhairavi, Kamala, and Chhinnamasta.
The sadhaka attains success in his spiritual journey with the guidance and blessings of these Ten Mahavidyas.
1. Sage Vyasa wanted to propagate bhakti and the greatness of Lord Krishna. 2. He was sure that through the path of bhakti, people can attain their spiritual goals and also lead a virtuous life. 3. Vyasa wanted a simple method to achieve these and Bhagavata was the result of this quest.
Even though Lomaharshana had not learned the Vedas, Rishis gave him Brahma-sthana in the yajna because of his knowledge and nobility. Rishis have full authority to do such things. They know Vedic principles in depth and never violate them.
