O Divine Mother Saraswati,
Goddess of wisdom and learning,
I come to you with a prayer.
Guide my son on the right path.
Remove distractions from his mind, please.
Keep him away from bad company.
Help him focus on his studies daily.
Grant him the strength to work hard.
Bless him with wisdom and understanding.
May he always seek knowledge sincerely.

O Mother, he has great potential.
He can do well with your grace.
Help him overcome his laziness and fear.
Fill his heart with love for learning.
Let him find joy in his studies.
Help him grasp and remember everything.
Remove all doubts from his mind.
Give him the confidence he needs.

May he score well in every exam.
May he excel in all his subjects.
Let him shine in his academics.
Guide him to success and achievement.
Keep him focused on his goals, Mother.
Help him use his time wisely.
May he be dedicated to his studies.
Fill him with motivation and ambition.

O Saraswati, be his guiding light.

Gyan Vapi - The well of wisdom in Kashi

Gyan Vapi, this well in Kashi was created by Lord Shiva. According to legend, there was once a time when there was no water on earth. Shiva struck the ground with his trident, and from this action, the first spring of water emerged. Lord Shiva then constructed a well around this spring. The water is considered to embody wisdom in liquid form. It is believed that drinking a sip from the well will help one gain wisdom. Today, a peepal tree shelters the well, which is secured by an iron grill to prevent anyone from jumping into it in pursuit of salvation.
