ओं यश्छन्दसामृषभो विश्वरूपः।
छन्दोभ्योऽध्य अमृतात्सम्बभूव।
स मेन्द्रो मेधया स्पृणोतु।
अमृतस्य देव धारणो भूयासम्।
The one who is the essence of all Vedic hymns and the embodiment of the entire cosmos, arising from the immortal Vedas, may that Indra bless me with wisdom. May I be the bearer of divine knowledge, just like the immortal nectar.
शरीरं मे विचर्षणम्।
जिह्वा मे मधुमत्तमा।
कर्णाभ्यां भूरिविश्रुवम्।
ब्रह्मणः कोशोऽसि मेधया पिहितः।
श्रुतं मे गोपाय।
May my body be strong and healthy, my tongue be sweet and eloquent, my ears be sharp and attentive, and my mind be covered and protected by wisdom. May I retain and safeguard all that I have heard.
ओं शान्तिः शान्तिः शान्तिः।
Om, peace, peace, peace.
ओं मेधादेवी जुषमाणा न आगाद्विश्वाची भद्रा सुमनस्यमाना।
त्वया जुष्टा नुदमाना दुरुक्तान् बृहत् वदेम विदथे सुवीराः।
May the goddess of wisdom, Medha Devi, who is revered and worshiped, come to us, bringing goodness and clarity of mind. By your grace, may we be free from evil words and speak boldly in gatherings with true wisdom.
त्वया जुष्टः ऋषिर्भवति देवि त्वया ब्रह्मा अगतश्रीरुत त्वया।
त्वया जुष्टश्चित्रं विन्दते वसु सानो जुषस्व द्रविणो न मेधे।
By your favor, O Devi, one becomes a sage, and by your grace, one attains the wealth of knowledge and prosperity. Blessed by you, one gains abundant wealth and treasures. Please bless us with your favor, O Goddess Medha.
मेधां म इन्द्रो ददातु मेधां देवी सरस्वती।
मेधां मे अश्विनावुभावाधत्तां पुष्करस्रजा।
May Indra grant me wisdom, may the goddess Saraswati bestow upon me intelligence, and may the Ashwini twins, adorned with lotus garlands, give me wisdom.
अप्सरासु च या मेधा गन्धर्वेषु च यन्मनः।
दैवी मेधा सरस्वती सा मां मेधा सुरभिर्जुषता स्वाहा।
May the divine wisdom that resides among the Apsaras and the divine intelligence among the Gandharvas bless me. May the divine Medha and Saraswati, fragrant with wisdom, be pleased with me.
आ मां मेधा सुरभिर्विश्वरूपा हिरण्यवर्णा जगती जगम्या।
ऊर्जस्वती पयसा पिन्वमाना सा मां मेधा सुप्रतीका जुषन्ताम्।
May the all-pervading wisdom, fragrant, golden, and universal, nourish me like milk, full of energy and vitality. May that wisdom, glowing with a beautiful form, bless me.
मयि मेधां मयि प्रजां मय्यग्निस्तेजो दधातु।
मयि मेधां मयि प्रजां मयीन्द्र इन्द्रियं दधातु।
मयि मेधां मयि प्रजां मयि सूर्यः भ्राजो दधातु।
May Agni grant me wisdom and progeny, may Indra grant me strength and senses, and may Surya grant me wisdom and brilliance.

Vamshanucharita - description of the important persons in the Vamshas. पुराणं पञ्चलक्षणम् - Puranas should have these five characteristics.
