In the vibrant town of Rampur, there lived a man named Kishangopal. He was the wealthiest landlord around, but his heart was as tight as a locked treasure chest. Kishangopal was known for being so stingy that even the coins in his pocket complained about the lack of space! People giggled when they spoke of Kishangopal's frugality, but he paid no heed.

Ignorance, as they say, was his constant companion. His only child, Anaya, a bright and kind girl, suffered the most from her father's obsession with wealth. Kishangopal had big dreams of making Anaya's future husband his heir, but there was a catch – the groom had to be as thrifty as him.

To find the perfect match, Kishangopal sought the help of a match-maker. Many suitors paraded through Kishangopal's grand entrance, each trying to impress with their penny-pinching ways. However, Kishangopal remained unimpressed, leaving the match-maker frustrated.

But clever Anaya had been silently observing her father's peculiar test. She noticed a vessel of water at their doorstep and realized that her father was judging suitors by how much water they used to wash their feet. Most suitors wasted water, believing it showcased cleanliness, but Kishangopal saw it as a sign of potential extravagance.

Finally, the match-maker sent word about a new prospect. The day arrived, and Kishangopal eagerly awaited the arrival of the suitor. When they arrived, the match-maker, as usual, used plenty of water to wash his feet. However, the young man, named Arjun, entered with a unique approach. He greeted Kishangopal without washing his feet, holding his slippers in hand, wrapped in old papers.

Arjun explained, 'If I'm to marry your daughter, I'll be entering and leaving your house multiple times daily. It wouldn't be right to waste a potful of water each time.' Kishangopal was amazed by Arjun's practical thinking.

To test him further, Kishangopal asked about the old papers. Arjun replied, 'They don't go waste; I use them as fuel in my household.' Overjoyed, Kishangopal hugged Arjun and arranged for Anaya's marriage to him.

Kishangopal proudly declared to friends and relatives, 'My son-in-law possesses unparalleled wisdom!' Little did he know that Anaya had orchestrated the entire plan, guiding Arjun on how to win her father's heart. match-maker, a willing partner in this happy conspiracy, played his part well.

As time passed, Arjun took over the estate and managed it generously. Unfortunately, Kishangopal, now old and sick, remained unaware of the transformation. Anaya, with her quick thinking and wisdom, had not only secured her own happiness but also revitalized her father's world with the magic of generosity and love. And so, all went well in Rampur, where wisdom and love triumphed over stinginess.
