रुद्रो बहुशिरा बभ्रुः विश्वयोनिः शुचिश्रवाः

रुद्रः
संहारकाले प्रजाः संहरन् रोदयतीति रुद्रः
Once again an assertion that Rudra and Sri Hari are one and the same.
At the time of annihilation, he makes everyone cry - रोदयतीति रुद्रः.
रुतिं ब्रह्मणे राति ददाति इति रुद्रः – he gives Shabda brahma, the Vedas to Brahma at the beginning delegating creation to him.
Creation is done out of this Shabda brahma.
रुदं संसारदुःखं द्रावयतीति रुद्रः – he removes the samsara dukha, worldly sorrows, hence he is rudra.
Removing in two ways, helping them by removing the pain, and anguish of his devotees while they are still in samsara, in the middle of the ocean called samsara, and also taking them to the other shore of samsara, by giving them moksha.
ईदृक् रूपैः चॆष्टितैश्च भक्तान् सानन्दबाष्पयन्
रॊदयन् रुद्र उद्दिष्टः सर्वसन्तॊषदॊ मनुः
When you hear the stories of Sri Hari's glories, his love, and affection for his devotees, tears of joy well up in your eyes.
Yes, you can’t help it.
He makes you cry - रोदयतीति रुद्रः.
Hence he is Rudra.
रुजद्रावकत्वात् रुद्रः
The Lord chases away diseases, pain,
अच्युतानन्तगोविन्द……
All diseases run away if you take his name.
What exactly is Gopichandana?
It is also called Gopika chandana.
It is the clay from Gopi Pushkar, a lake near Dwaraka.
It's about 20 km from Dwarka.
It is presently called Gopi talav.
When they heard about the departure of Lord Krishna back to his abode, the queens, the Gopikas also gave up their lives here.
Their bodies became the clay here.
Gopichandana is so holy, Bhagawan himself has said that a home where Gopi chandana is there, that home will be as holy as a teertha.
Nothing bad ever happens in that house.
There will be no sadness.
People in that house will have clarity of thought.
If you apply Gopi Chandana on your body, all kinds of diseases will be cured.
All kinds of worries will be gone.
All desires will be achieved by wearing Gopi chandana.
It will give moksha.
Not even wearing, merely touching Gopi chandana will make you pure.
Finding Gopi chandana in the home of their descendants, the forefathers become happy.
They bless that home with children and grandchildren.
For the devotees of bhagawan, applying four things on the body are very important.
Gopi chandana.
Hari chandana - that is the regular chandana.
Tulasi wood paste- this is called Tulasi kashta chandana.
And also soil from below the tulasi plant.
